Back From A Life Changing Experience

Kasey, Jonathon, Justin and Renee have returned from NYC. Everyone of them can tell you that it was a life changing experience. Both for them and for those lives that they touched while they were in St. Louis.

They were part of 70 that went from Iowa and they were part of 9600 that were in St. Louis for almost a week. This group of 9600 people had a wonderful time worshipping with the leadership of several bands and several speakers.

They also made a difference in the lives of others through the building of Habitat for Humanity homes, the painting of public schools, the sponsoring of over 1500 children and the feeding of 10,184 families of 4 for a full week.

If you get a chance ask any of the 4 that went how it changed them.

Insurance Cards

We need a copy of the front and back of your insurance card to send in to the district before you go. Please bring that with you to Wednesday night group.

NYC Feeding of the 5,000

Don't forget on Wednesday nights to bring your canned or non-parishable goods to support those of our group that plan to feed 5,000 homeless people when we attend NYC in Kansas City this summer.

We are getting excited about our trip to Saint Louis for Nazarene Youth Congress. Thanks to everyone who has helped in the fund raising endeavors. Please get Stephanie all of your candy bar money as soon as possible. For those that are going, I should already have your January payment of $100.00. February's will be due by February 14th.

NYC Fundraiser

For participants of NYC we will be raising funds by having a Car Wash on September 16th at the HyVee on Douglas between 8:00 and 2:00. All proceeds will go to help teens attend NYC 2007 in St. Louis, MO.

They're Back!!

Alan, Ashley, Bethany, Julie and Stephanie have returned form Houston, Texas where they spent time with 9,000 teenagers from the United States and Canada in worship, celebration, missions and spiritual growth. They had the privilege of hearing from many different bands and speakers and have a lot to share with us. We will be asking them to do that in one of our upcoming CRAVE463 Satisfaction nights. You don't want to miss the sharing of what kind of changes have occured in their life.
