Family Camp Meeting

Family Campmeeting will be held at the Iowa District Campground in West Des Moines the week of June 28th - July 4th. Nightly services will begin at 7:30 each evening. Many special events are planned and after service activities for youth are part of this week. I encourage all of you to attend as much as possible, but most specifically the NYI Convention on Friday afternoon and the service that evening that is especially for you.

(There will be no CRAVE463 on Wednesday night due to camp meeting)

Greater Life is moving

On May 16th we will have our Sunday service in our new location. We are all grown up now and need more space. We will now be located at Indian Hills Junior High School.

We are moving

We have done it. We have outgrown Western Hills. We needed a bigger place to have our Sunday Worship. We will be moving to Indian Hills in May and more on the exact date is headed your way as soon as it is available.

Church the Awesome Way

We talked last Wednesday night about the how awesome it is to have church the way that we do. The big screen, the awesome music, the great band! We also talked about what it takes to do this every Sunday morning and make sure that we can always enjoy this.

There are many things that will allow you to be a part of making sure that we get to keep doing this. Setup is really important and you can all lend a hand. Setting up chairs, hanging drapes, carrying music stands, helping with instruments and the stage. Even someone who can watch little kids while the adults are setting up. Make sure you let me know how you want to be a part of keeping church as cool as it is right now!

Grand Opening

Thanks to all of you that attended the Grand Opening on Sunday and for your response to inviting a friend. Julie Childers and Elizabeth Newburn will receive their $25.00 Best Buy Gift Certificates on Wednesday evening for bringing thier friends on this special day. Julie's friend Jennifer Wu received a drawing gift certificate as well.

It was great to meet Julie's friend, Jennifer and Liz's friend, Carley and look forward to seeing them again in the future.

Greater Life Community Church

In addition to our CRAVE463 activities we celebrate with our church on Sundays at 10:30am at Western Hills School in West Des Moines.

There is a terrific worship band and vocalists, video, and great life application from our Pastor, Rev. Leray Glendenning.

If you are looking for a place to celebrate and worship God in a way that He is leading you, our accepting atmosphere is just for you. Visitors find it very welcoming.

If you are looking for a place to use your ministry, our newly forming church is looking to fill many areas. You will have a place to belong.
