Audio Adrenaline - Adios Tour

If you are interested in going to see Audio Adrenaline, let me know which night works best for you as one show is in Council Bluffs and one show is in Waterloo. Tickets are about $25-$30 depending on the location. Please let me know if you are interested in going by Sunday, September 10th as I would like to get tickets purchased ASAP. NYC Fundraiser

For participants of NYC we will be raising funds by having a Car Wash on September 16th at the HyVee on Douglas between 8:00 and 2:00. All proceeds will go to help teens attend NYC 2007 in St. Louis, MO.

We just talked about the symbols that are so meaningful in our eathly life. Like a certain symbol automatically makes us think XBox, another symbol makes us thing of a certain kind of vehicle and yet another that makes us think about services readily available to us. These are the symbols that come and go in our life. You nkow...from Atari to Nintendo to Playstation to Xbox. What is next.

There is one symbol that will always stand for the same thing and has greater meaning in our life and will never fade away. THE CROSS. Because of what this symbol stands for and because it will have a lasting reputation how are we doing as stewards of the cross?

We will continue to discover the true level of commitment to the one who suffered on that cross as we continue next week.

Quizzers - you should be studying chapter 3 at this time. You want to be ready for our first Quiz Meet on September 9th which covers Acts 1-4.

NYC

Nazarene Youth Conference - Don't miss this opportunity to come together with over 10,000 youth from all over the United States and Canada in St. Louis Missouri. Stephanie, Alan, Pastor Stephen and I will be going as sponsors and are excited about what this conference is going to do for you. More information to follow.

Nintento Fusion Tour Concert

November 11th - At the Val Air Ballroom. There will be great bands there such as: Hawthorne Heights, Relient K, Plain White T's, Emery and The Sleeping. Tickets are already on sale and I will purchase them as you give me your money in case the concert sells out. The cost is $26 per person. West Grand Miniature Golf

September 10th - Invite your friends to join you for miniature golf with the youth group. We will leave immediately following church. The cost is $15. This will be $6.00 for the golf and the rest for the meal that we will have together on the way to the golf course. You can contact Stephanie at 778-1084 for questions or if you need a ride.
