4th of July Celebration
Don't miss this one. It is going to be a great time as we all meet at Steph and Alan's house at 5:00pm on Saturday, July 1st and head out to Amber Golay's house for food, a bon fire, a hay rack ride, volleyball and other outdoor activities and your normal 4th of July lighting up of the sky after dark. The van will return to Alan and Steph's house around 10:30pm - 11:00pm.

We will continue this week to Dig In. We will be continuing to explore commitment and learn from "The Lord of the Rings" some lessons regarding being careful about who we make commitments to.

Our teens have been to camp. Justin, Kasey, Mike and Shelby will all be returning to group this week and will be anxious to tell us all about their experience at camp this year. Make sure that you join us as we welcome them back.

Youth Camp
Youth Camp begins this week. Please keep Justin, Matt, Mike, Shelby, Kasey and Amy in your prayers as they join with other Iowa teens to fellowship and worship every day this week.

Digging In
Last week we learned that "Lord" isn't just a nickname. We learned why we consider him our Lord. It's because He is our Master.
Several people earned their stripes.
Justin received his green stripe because he performed an act of service.
Matt received his red stripe because he performed an act of fellowship.
Kasey earned a yellow stripe for outreach.
Amber received her red stripe for fellowship, her yellow stripe for outreacha nd her blue stripe for worship.
Remember that you can earn yours as well as we all strive to be Four Star Generals in the Lord's Army.

School Is Out Grill Out
What would be a better reason for celebrating that you are done with the books for a few months? We think that just the completion of the last 9 months and the enjoyment of the next 3 are worth some celebration.
Alan and Stephanie are hosting an all day grill out at their home immediately following church on Sunday, June 11th.
Plan on joining us for Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Chips, Pop and more for lunch and XBox, games, movies, etc.
To plan for enough food, please let Stephanie know if you are planning to attend.
Movie Night - Pirates of the Carribean
Back by popular demand - another night out at the movies! The movie night for XMen was great - 12 people came along and the movie was great and we had a lot of fun. Now, Pirates of the Caribbean is coming out. We will be going as a group to see the movie on Saturday, July 8th. We will again meet at Stephanie's house at 5:30 for Pizza before the movie. Please have $8.50 for your ticket prepurchase to Stephanie by Wednesday, July 5th. Bring your friends!
